About the Tall Building Fire Safety Network

With currently more than 6400 buildings higher than 100 metres in cities around the globe, and all of them at risk from fire, greater knowledge of tall buildings is essential. The opportunity to network with professionals from around the world who agree with this statement is also vital.

With three days of presentations delivered by a line up of international speakers, all experts in their chosen disciplines, the Tall Buildings Fire Safety Conference 2015 is an essential event in the diaries of any professional whose role encompasses the protection of people, property and assets from the devastating effects of fire.

Globally, it is a rare week that facilities managers, insurers, architects, developers and firefighters are not dealing with a catastrophic, if not fatal, fire in a high rise building.

Book Your Place Now! During the first two days of the conference the programme will focus on four themes centred on challenges and solutions for tall buildings:

  • Day 1
    • Morning: Management of fire safety
    • Afternoon: Fire detection & alarm
  • Day 2
    • Morning: Fire escape & evacuation
    • Afternoon: Fire containment & compartmentation
  • Day 3 - Delegates will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge in one of three areas:
    • Business continuity & resilience
    • Security & terrorism events
    • Firefighting

The conference will be held in the World Heritage site which is the University of Greenwich, on the banks of the River Thames, London.
